Monoclonal mouse antibody for human Thyroxine (T4). Antibody can be used in various applications such as ELISA, homogenous immunoassays and Western blots. Clone 6H11 cross-reacts with Triiodothyronine T3 (1%) and reverse Triiodothyronine rT3 (1.4%). About Thyroxine

Thyroxine, also known as T4, is one of the two hormones produced by the thyroid gland. Thyroxine is a tyrosine-based hormone and is involved in the regulation of metabolism. The molecular of Thyroxine contains 4 iodine atoms, hence the term T4. Thyroxine is involved in the increase of the metabolic rate, through protein synthesis.
