On December 31, 2019, from the Chinese city of Wuhan, Hubei, comes the first case of “atypcal ARDS/ interstitial pneumonia”. On February 11, 2020 the WHO officially announced the new name of the pathology associated with the coronavirus: COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019). On February 13, 72000 cases have been recorded in China, of which 15000 in Hubei with 242 deaths in a single day.
