Deoxycholate Citrate Agar (DCA) is a selective culture medium for isolating enteric Gram-negative bacteria, particularly Salmonella and Shigella. It contains deoxycholate to inhibit Gram-positive bacteria, citrate as a carbon source, and a pH indicator for differentiation. DCA aids in identifying lactose fermenters and non-fermenters based on color changes. This product has been used as a molecular tool for various biochemical applications. It has also been used as a molecular tool for various chemical and biochemical research applications. Custom bulk amounts of this product are available upon request.
