Catalog Number: B2027381 (100 mg)
Octakis(2,3-di-O-methyl-6-sulfo)-gamma-cyclodextrin sodium salt is a chemically modified cyclic oligosaccharide derivative composed of eight glucopyranose units bearing methyl substitutions at the C-2 and C-3 positions and sulfonate groups at the C-6 positions. The presence of negatively charged sulfonate groups combined with hydrophobic methyl modifications enhances its water solubility while providing unique cavity selectivity and ionic interactions. This fine chemical reagent is primarily utilized in analytical chemistry as a chiral selector for separations in capillary electrophoresis and high-performance liquid chromatography. Custom bulk amounts of this product are available upon request.
