Catalog Number: B2027149 (100 ug)
Native Horse Ferritin is a highly conserved, ubiquitous iron-storage protein complex isolated from equine tissue, structurally composed of 24 symmetrically related subunits that self-assemble into a near-spherical hollow nanocage. This primary intracellular reservoir dynamically regulates iron homeostasis by sequestering up to 4,500 iron atoms in a nontoxic ferric mineral form, effectively preventing oxidative stress and lipid peroxidation. It is widely utilized in research applications. Custom bulk amounts of this product are available upon request.
