IPTG Solution 100 mM (Biotechnology Grade)

$175.00

Catalog Number: B2010137 (10 x 1 mL)
100mM IPTG Solution is a high quality research product used as optimized stock solution of IPTG (isopropyl-beta-D-thiogalactopyranoside), a synthetic analog of lactose. IPTG inactivates the lac repressor of the lac operon, trigeering the induction of beta-galactosidase synthesis. IPTG is used with X-Gal in the blue/white colony screening. it also used to induce the expression of recombinant protein under the control of the lac operon. Custom bulk orders of this product are available upon request.
