Catalog Number: B2026696 (1 mg)
Hexa-His, or His-tag, is a peptide sequence of six histidine residues (His) used in molecular biology for protein purification. It binds to metal ions on chromatography resins, allowing for the isolation of His-tagged proteins. The tag can be added to either end of a protein and minimally interferes with its structure. This product has been used as a molecular tool for various chemical and biochemical research applications. Custom bulk amounts of this product are available upon request.
