Substrate for Human Leucocyte Elastase (N-Methoxysuccinyl-Ala-Ala-Pro-Val-pNitroanilide) is a chromogenic substrate that is highly specific to neutrophil elastase (about 40 to 200 times more sensitive than older conventional substrates). It is widely used for elastase inhibitor screening and measuring neutrophil activation in immunology studies.
