Hexakis-(6-deoxy-6-O-sulfo)-α-Cyclodextrin Sodium Salt is a per-functionalized, negatively charged α-cyclodextrin derivative in which all six primary hydroxyl groups at the C-6 positions are replaced with O-sulfonate ester groups. This polyanionic cyclic oligosaccharide exhibits high water solubility and strong binding affinity toward cationic or electron-deficient guest molecules.
