Catalog Number: B2025774 (1 g)
Heptakis(2,3,6-tri-O-methyl)-beta-cyclodextrin is a modified beta-cyclodextrin, a cyclic oligosaccharide of seven glucose units. This modification methylates three hydroxyl groups, enhancing solubility and inclusion properties. It forms inclusion complexes with guest molecules, increasing hydrophobic character and effectiveness in encapsulating compounds. This product has been used as a molecular tool for various biochemical applications. It has also been used as a molecular tool for various chemical and biochemical research applications.
