Hematoxylin is a natural dye from the logwood tree (Haematoxylum campechianum), native to Central America and the Caribbean. It stains cell nuclei a deep blue or purple color, aiding in the visualization of cellular structures in tissue samples. Often used with eosin in H&E staining, it highlights tissue architecture and cellular details. This product has been used as a molecular tool for various biochemical applications.
