Applications: stock solution for the preparation of a wide variety of buffers and reagents used in molecular biology and biochemistry. Tween 20 is nonionic detergent of type polysorbate. The ehtylene oxide moiety of Tween is polar whereas the hydrocarbon chain is non polar. Tween 20 is a component of many washing, blocking, dilution and stabilization buffers.
